AlephD was acquired by AOL in 2016.AOL + Yahoo = OATH. OATH was later renamed to Verizon Media.I currently head the Engineering Team based in Paris. We are responsible for Verizon Media's Analytics Insights that provide detailed, bid-level insights and alerts to all of our Publisher side platforms and their clients.We:- Build Big-data pipelines and advanced aggregations that consume and assimilate 100s of terabytes of ad-serving data to surface useful insights that power our dashboards. (Spark / PySpark, Hadoop Map-Reduce, Hive, EMR, Luigi, etc)- Design and optimize specialized databases (such as Vertica) to efficiently store and query large amounts of data. (Vertica, MySQL)- Build smart, performant and reliable APIs that can interface with our datastores and UIs. (Python / Django, raw SQL, Go, Nginx, Varnish, etc)- Create out-standing UIs with intricate data visualizations that help our clients gather actionable insights. (Angular, Typescript, ES6, Highcharts)- Provision, deploy, manage and monitor all our infrastructure. (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, AWS Lambda, Datadog, etc)We work very closely with our Data Science team to implement ML based alerts, simulated profitability assessments and other smart insights (unique counts using HyperLogLog, etc)

An early employee at AlephD, providing disruptive technology to digital publishers in the real-time bidding landscape. AlephD combines big data, smart math and great analytics dashboards to let publishers make the most of their advertising inventory.I was responsible for our Analytics dashboards over the full stack:- Big data pipelines- Database opimizations- API backends- UI- SSO and integrations with 3rd parties- Product securityAlephD was acquired by AOL in 2016.

Zoomdeck's goal was to make images interactive, informational and ultimately better monetizable. We developed a prototype and raised a seed round by going through the GSF accelerator. We then launched an iOS app to very good reviews. Design, development and optimization of the next generation GDSII physical layout modeling engine for Apache's Totem and RedHawk tools.Implementation of advanced data structures and algorithms for optimized storage, retrieval and query of huge amounts of physical layout / geometrical data.Design and implementation of advanced feature sets such as:- Device/substrate level extraction, device heuristics and recognition.- Current source/sink modeling for memories, analog and mixed mode designs.Architecture and implementation of staggered Cell level integrated flows for better modeling and efficiency.
