During my six years with IBM, I was awarded the ‘Best of IBM’, consistently earned the top or near-top performance ratings, and was identified as ‘Top Talent’ within IBM India.>Most recent role: Business Analyst and Assessor for an application for managing customer accounts through the entire customer life cycle. The application handled data from more than ten million transactions per day and was business-critical for the client.>Independent responsibility for analyzing and architecting changes to the application. My role was to independently analyze requirements, develop a plan of attack, estimate time/effort, and develop impact, risk and change management plans. >Demonstrated expert-level knowledge of SQL/databases and familiar with concepts of statistics and basics of SAS. >Functioned as a Subject Matter Expert and Trainer within the project around domain skills (activations, networks, products) and around functional skills (databases/SQL and mainframe programming).>Trained as IBM Quality Ambassador and hands-on with quality management in a software environment. >Sound grounding in people and influencing skills; exposure to client management in an international environment.

Was part of a team that worked on an in-house project for Phoenix Life Insurance North America. The project handled all the sales data generated by Phoenix Life, for example records of all agents, records of all policies sold by agents; and managed commission and incentive payouts and provided management reporting and analytic support. Acquired strong database management and software programming skills; and was exposed to change management processes as Phoenix Life transitioned from its legacy databases to newer systems.
