What started as an after-work hobby, today, is a home to nearly 1500 people and has helped hundreds of them survive the pandemic and navigating all of life’s challenges.Today, Live2Dance is PNW’s largest Bollywood Dance studio, home for hundreds of people, an avid supporter of fellow small businesses, an activist for immigrants, and a devoted contributor to the life of Seattle.As a small business owner my role spreads across a wide range of tasks:• Business planning: Developing short-term and long-term goals and outlining strategies for growth and success.• Financial management: Managing budgets, tracking income and expenses, handling payroll, invoicing.• Studio operations: Overseeing day-to-day operations, scheduling classes, managing studio facilities, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance.• Marketing and promotion: Developing marketing strategies, creating promotional materials, managing social media accounts, advertising classes and events, and attracting new students.• Curriculum development: Designing dance programs, selecting class offerings, and ensuring alignment with student needs and interests.• Staff management: Hiring, training, and supervising dance instructors, administrative staff, as well as managing staff scheduling.• Customer service: Providing customer service to students and parents, and fostering positive relationships with the dance community.• Event planning: Organizing PNW's largest Bollywood productions, performances, workshops, special events, including coordinating logistics, securing venues, and managing ticket sales.• Legal and administrative tasks: Ensuring compliance with local regulations, obtaining necessary permits and licenses, and handling legal issues as they arise.

Focused on establishing long-term relationships with various restaurant owners. Ensuring that all restaurant owners experience high-quality interactions with the organization, job seekers and potential candidates.

• Specialized in preparing comprehensive Asset Management Plans for PWGSC after determining the remaining economic life of the asset, and studying its physical, financial, functional and operational performance with context to government policies and workplace 2.0 guidelines. Developed a 5 year plan and 30 year plan and after comparing them with the market value of the asset, recommended potential real property strategies for Under Performing Assets (UPAs).• Conducted market research and analysis to estimate permit fee for a private patio on city lands. After developing an econometric model and interviewing restaurant owners and Industrial Bureaus, a lower patio fees was recommended. The number was derived by working backwards and running multiple iterations keeping in mind city’s revenue budget. Recommended rate was implemented in the next fiscal year, resulting in a benefit for restaurant owners who were paying the highest rate in country towards patio fees. • Managed and controlled a $38 million budget for fit ups at the new Canadian Football League Stadium, on behalf of OSEG (Ottawa Sports Entertainment Group).• Conducted financial reporting, financial forecasting; overseeing fiduciary activities, active interfacing with contractors and client involvement in procurement process, and budget monitoring. • Delivered weekly budget variance report to the client after compiling data from contractors, architects, vendors, and project managers.• Market Research: Carried out real estate market research to identify and assess options for RCMP properties, in alignments with preparing Asset Management Plans• Cost Analysis: Developed lifecycle costing for redevelopment plans of federal government assets. This included in-depth analysis of O&M, PILT, recapitalization costs, etc.• Quantitative Analysis: Calculated Facility Condition Index estimates for Health Canada assets, to quantify the condition of the assets and to assess needed upgrades and repairs
