CurrentBorn with a mission to create more inclusive and happier communities via dance and create a platform that exhibits and gets the much needed visibility to South Asian Arts and Culture. What started as an after-work hobby, today, is a home to nearly 1500 people and has helped hundreds of them survive the pandemic and navigating all of life’s challenges.Today, Live2Dance is PNW’s largest Bollywood Dance studio, home for hundreds of people, an avid supporter of fellow small businesses, an activist for immigrants, and a devoted contributor to the life of Seattle.As a small business owner my role spreads across a wide range of tasks:• Business planning: Developing short-term and long-term goals and outlining strategies for growth and success.• Financial management: Managing budgets, tracking income and expenses, handling payroll, invoicing.• Studio operations: Overseeing day-to-day operations, scheduling classes, managing studio facilities, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance.• Marketing and promotion: Developing marketing strategies, creating promotional materials, managing social media accounts, advertising classes and events, and attracting new students.• Curriculum development: Designing dance programs, selecting class offerings, and ensuring alignment with student needs and interests.• Staff management: Hiring, training, and supervising dance instructors, administrative staff, as well as managing staff scheduling.• Customer service: Providing customer service to students and parents, and fostering positive relationships with the dance community.• Event planning: Organizing PNW's largest Bollywood productions, performances, workshops, special events, including coordinating logistics, securing venues, and managing ticket sales.• Legal and administrative tasks: Ensuring compliance with local regulations, obtaining necessary permits and licenses, and handling legal issues as they arise.
