Studying in the Neuroscience and Cognitive Science program under the Biology Department.I studied the anatomical, synaptic correlates of adult neuroplasticity in the rodent visual cortex. I used acute estrogen administration to test the hypothesis that hormone treatment can re-instate brain plasticity and lead to regain of sensory and cognitive function in the aging brain.
