I have 8 plus years of experience in counselling, psychotherapy and mental health. I have worked in different settings such as schools, colleges, corporates, and tech-enabled mental health services. I am currently working as a private practitioner and consultant.This diverse experience has not only given me an opportunity to build counselling competencies but it has also helped me reevaluate and modify my perspective on mental health from time to time.My areas of interest and expertise are counselling young adults and adults with concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, self esteem issues, relationship issues, etc. I use an ecelectic approach to therapy with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapies.I often use a psycho-social lens to my practice along with a strengths based approach. I believe that counselling is a collaborative process where client and therapist work as a team and a sound therapeutic relationship is a key to this process.
