Worked as an Onsite Project Lead managing requirements and test coverage and strategy for testing the UI for DataXu. The projects were Agile in nature and conducted regression testing after every sprint. I wore BA hat to identify key business functionality that needed to be tested each sprint.We had daily stand up meetings ,reviews, retrospective as part of the scrum. Created test plans and cases as required for new features. Worked closely with developers, business analysts, program managers, product managers and the offshore team to deliver the tests successfully. Used Jira to log bugs and worked closely with developers to fix the issues.Managed the offshore team testing by connecting with them on a daily basis and sharing the information gathered from the meetings onsite. The DataXu team also started automating some tests and was part of the transition process as well.

(Client: National Grid)Played the role of Program Lead for Performance testing for a major SAP project.Key responsibilities : Co-ordination with multiple vendors, Coordination with Application tracks, Onsite- Offshore Coordination, Designing, Reviewing and Executing Scripts using HP Loadrunner and HP Quality Center. Was also part of creating test reviews and reporting to the client with the progress made during the testing cycle.

(Client : Royal Bank of Canada)Played the role of QA lead and onsite-offshore coordinator for a private client group’s billing project.Involved in requirements gathering, worked closely with the business technology group, business system analysts, developers and third party vendors to understand the fee billing requirements and test the enhanced vendor application (Bonaire’s Revport) using Agile software development and testing process. Understood complex wealth management system processes to create test cases and ensure full test coverage. Logged bugs and worked with Technical systems analyst and developers to fix issues.

(Captive of Bank of New York Mellon)Started as a Mainframe developer and moved into the Performance Engineering team which did the monitoring of applications to analyze the response time taken for the applications to do various functions and collects the metrics and alerts the application team whenever the application is down or is having other performance related issues.Prototyped early ‘Big Data’ discovery using process monitoring data to develop ROI and ongoing improvements. Involved in creating scripts in HP Loadrunner and execute them so as to carry out performance tests. Some of the requirements were very time sensitive and had to complete the scripting, execution, testing in very strict timelines so as to meet the customer expectations.

(Client: Thomson Reuters)Started as a Software Engineer in Mainframes where I was trained to develop COBOL programs, use VSAM and CICS as part of the Mainframe applications and the database DB2 was the backend. The client I worked for was Thomson Reuters and project was Support and Maintenance of Service Permissioning Management system. Developed code as part of T&M projects, worked on Issues raised by clients ( ISQ's ) and debugged the UI and fixed defects. Was part of ITIL framework team and also wrote QA documents and was reviewer for code written by peers.
