Designed, built and executed 2 small scale Solar PV rooftop projects in the Art of Living International Centre.Assisted the implementation of a 4kW rural electrification project at Patan, Madhya Pradesh, a project carried out by SSRDP in collaboration with SunEdison.Conducted a 2 day training seminar for trainees on the installation and setup of off grid Solar PV rooftop systems.A brief about the choice of firm.Interested in the Solar PV sector, I looked to SSRDP to gain expertise in the field operations of Solar PV. SSRDP specialises in bringing CSR funding to the unprivileged in the form of instruments that can shape their standard of living and help them benefit from technology and information. SSRDP, being a wing of the art of living foundation also focuses on the human development of the areas. As an intern here, I learnt the process of designing, building, budgeting and executing off grid Solar PV systems, I had an exposure to the rural electrification projects.In return I could provide insight on how modern marketing and fund raising technique could be beneficial for SSRDP to gain more support financially and connect with corporates to further enhance their projects for the unprivileged.
