• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, requirements and test review discussions. • Design and construct test automation scripts using Quick Test Professional tool, Fitnesse that assist testers with testing activities. Construct, maintain, and supports test harnesses, test data generators, and analysis tools. • Interpret and manipulate computer program's or system's components. Determine the interrelationship among the components and the set of rules that govern the interaction and evolution of the program/system.• Follow established Test Strategy and Test Plan to guide testing efforts for assigned work• Tests system components by utilizing manual, black box and white box testing methods. Create test cases to demonstrate clarity and testability of requirements. • Defines requirements for the test environment. Construct practical simulations of production environments and processes. • Communicates regularly with project members including developers, solution architects, testers, business analysts, and requirement analysts.• Discover and report defects. Interpret trends and create recommendations by using data, experience, and logical methods to increase efficiency and identify risks to systems. • Validate and verify the system under test and observe results from various external and internal interfaces including system, acceptance, performance and integration testing. • Planning the testing effort according to, and tracking it against, the Test Strategy and Test Plan. Communicate progress and adjusts the Test Strategy and Plan based upon information learned during the project.
