I am a mechanical engineer by trade with more than 2 years of experience in mechanical design and drafting in a research organization, right now working as a team leader in a food packaging company in Auckland, New Zealand. Fillpak is the food packaging and blending company located in west Auckland. Being a team leader I am responsible for the setup and operation of the cam based rotary pouch filling machines, form-fill sealing machine and muti-head weighers. Apart from setup and operations it is made sure that the area and the production line is free from allergens, everything is in place before the commencement of the daily production. Quality checks are carried out every hour making sure the production is met with the given standards and requirements of the different customers and sampling plan is followed on hourly basis. At Central Scientific Research Organization, I gained strong knowledge and experience of mechanical CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD. On the research part of my work experience I have worked on the projects that was involved in working with Ferro-Fluids for the advance machining in the optical systems, in another application the ferro-fluids were used for Athermalization in advance optical systems. I am experienced in working with Finite Element Analysis software such as ANSYS and Comsol Multiphysics. I developed the strong understanding of how various concepts of mechanical engineering such as heat transfer, fluid mechanics were applied in the real terms using the simulation software such as ANSYS and Comsol Multiphysics. I also like to work with machines therefore I enrolled myself in the CNC programming. I am familiar with the operation of CNC machines and have experience in operating and setting up 5 axis CNC machine.
Listed skills include Autocad Mechanical, Simulation Software, Mechanical Drawings, Teamwork, and 10 others.
