The research work involve:(a) Develop in-house geosynthetics (geotextile, geogrid, and geocell) using textile waste.(b) Assess their characteristics for use as reinforcement in geotechnical applications in place of conventional geosynthetics.(c) Comparative life cycle assessment of using geosynthetics obtained from textile waste in place of conventional geosynthetics in slope stabilization.(d) Finite element analysis for modeling behavior of geosynthetics, when used for slope stabilization.

The research work involves:(a) Physical and mechanical characterization of IBA and comparing it with regulatory standards for reuse in MSE walls and roads. Large scale triaxial test, Resilient modulus test, Bender element test, Pullout test, etc. are some of the important tests carried out for this purpose.(b) Study of leaching behavior of IBA and comparing it with regulatory standards for reuse and disposal. DI water batch leaching tests, pH dependent leaching tests and column leaching tests were performed.(c) Life cycle analysis and economic feasibility of using IBA in place of natural materials.

Worked in construction of Underground Metro Station at Delhi Gate site under Delhi Metro Rail Project (CC-05 Package Including 3 Stations & Tunnel using TBM Method) Phase -III – Mandi House to Jama Masjid, with DMRC as client. Key Responsibilities:• Undertaking site inspections.• Experience of execution of Diaphragm Wall an integral part of the Metro Station Structure, installation of Micropiles, Soldier piles and Plunge Columns.• Preparation of excavation sequence and implementing required stabilizing techniques such as application of shotcrete, wire mesh and rock bolts.• Design and Implementation of ground improvement techniques.
