We have targeted four important developmental stages and generated forward and reverse subtractive cDNA libraries control and stress treated plants. We have also completed Microarray from post anthesis/grain filling stage. We have got some important heat stress responsive genes; which are being validated using real time PCR, followed by RACE. Construct preparation using suitable plant expression vector is underway. The results from the present project will be relevant for transgenic development as well as in delineating the molecular mechanism for heat stress tolerance. Show less
