Deepica began her academic career at Montgomery College as a dual enrollment student in high school, then in her freshman year as a business major in the Macklin Business Institute. Her contributions to the Montgomery College community can be seen through her work as a co-leader of Raptor Tank, the collegewide business pitch competition encouraging participants to explore their entrepreneurial interests. In addition, she helped to revive the Macklin Business Institute Café after it was closed for two years due to the pandemic, implementing initiatives to improve customer experience, and raising funding for projects and programs benefiting the Montgomery College community. She also served as the sole student trustee on the Montgomery College Board of Trustees, appointed by Governor Larry Hogan. She is now an undergraduate student at the University of Maryland, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Outside of school, she is entering her fourth year as an intern at Nasdaq within the Listing Qualifications department.
