CurrentDr Deepika Kothari is PhD in Physics. Now her area of interest is research, writing and film making on Indian thought, cultural heritage, Yoga and various doctrines with modern scientific outlook.She did her B.Sc Honours & MSc in Physics from Miranda House, Delhi University. Her dozens of scientific papers were published in International & National Journals. She has also written popular articles on science, environment and their impact on society related issues in Newspapers and magazines. Given Radio talks on Science and scientists. Her work in the area of Science education, training of science teachers, indigenous scientific models and experiments was used in Universalization of education in Rajasthan. Born in a family of Scientists and Educationist she came in contact with scholars, scientists, spiritual leaders and many Nobel Laureates. Granddaughter of Padma Vibhshan Dr D S Kothari, first Scientific Adviser and Chairman, Kothari Commission on Education.Her Films have won awards and have been the winner of Indian Panorama at International Film Festivalsof India twice.
