• Developed NRGP Daily Dashboard using Power BI. This dashboard made use of Power Query parameters for looking at different slices of data based on date, Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for pivoting and unpivoting columns, and SQL to extract the data from the Amazon Redshift cloud data warehouse. A subscription was set up to send the various managers within the Home Protection division a daily snapshot of this dashboard via email. • Converted all Power BI reports that had previously used the Microsoft Dynamics AX reporting database to instead use Amazon Redshift as their new source.• Supported all Power BI dashboards, reports, and applications for the Home Protection division, making all enhancements and fixes, as needed.• Built and analyzed datasets from Dynamics AX, Salesforce, and Amazon Redshift for customer tenure analysis, using both Microsoft Excel and Power BI.• Earned Microsoft Certification for Power BI in 2022 and renewed the certification in 2023 and 2024.• Developed SQL queries and Python scripts to pull survey data for AWHR and DEPP claims from Amazon Redshift.• Attended Agile Methodologies training.

• Design, development, and support of applications and databases for the Plant Applications team.• Extracted data from Intelex system into the Oracle ODS using Intelex API and Adobe ColdFusion pages for presentation on corporate Safety Dashboard.• Set users up with Power BI and all required components - Oracle 19c client and Oracle Data Access Components (ODAC) for reporting out of multiple systems.• Developed and enhanced mobile applications using Kony / Temenos / HCL Quantum Visualizer.• Redeveloped multiple ColdFusion 6 MX / 8 / Railo applications to run on Adobe ColdFusion 11.• Designed and implemented an Operational Data Store (ODS) on Oracle Database 12c / 19c.• Developed SSIS packages to populate the ODS from various other systems.• Wrote Python program that attaches multiple safety reports to an email message for company-wide distribution.• Upgraded WebLogic server, database, and all components for Primavera P6 EPPM 8.2 to 18.8 without assistance from Oracle Support.• Developed Python script to export Primavera P6 EPPM projects into XER files for import into new system.• Attended Microsoft Azure Fundamentals training and passed certification test in 2020.

• Developed SharePoint applications to replace IBM Lotus Notes databases as part of LN decommissioning.• Designed and developed Mobile Alerting System using Adobe ColdFusion, JavaScript, and Microsoft SQL Server to send distributed notifications of COMAs (Conservative Operations & Maintenance Alerts) to all subscribers within the company.• Redeveloped a timesheet entry system and integrated it with SAP for the EnergyServices Maintenance Services group.• Redeveloped the Minneapolis Thermal Billing system for Integration with SAP: - Removed all references to previous ERP system and transitioned customer numbers for use with SAP. - Developed SQL Server database to hold payment and address information from SAP. - Redesigned MS Access queries, tables, macros, forms, and reports. - Rewrote Access VBA code and SQL queries to accommodate new integration.• Wrote SQL scripts and stored procedures to migrate all relevant data from legacy budgeting system to PowerSAM following NRG / GenOn merger.• Redeveloped the Plant Production Repository (PPR) system: - Converted VB6 data loading application to VB.NET 4.5. - Modified Excel VBA macros and VB.NET program for connectivity with Oracle Database 11g from Oracle 9i. - Deployed Excel and VB.NET PPR applications on Citrix. - Built C#/ASP.NET Web application to display Crystal Reports.• Implemented virtualization of numerous applications, both third-party and built in-house, on Citrix.• Writing Linux / UNIX shell scripts as needed.• Supporting and maintaining Java based applications.

• Designed and developed both the front-end and back-end (ASP.NET/VB.NET 4.0 Web application and SQL Server 2008 database) of the Electronic Logbook application planned for use at all plants. This application was intended to replace all legacy Lotus Notes "Redbook" databases at each Texas plant as well as being implemented at other plants nationwide.• Separated several highly-coupled ASP.NET 1.1 applications into separate Visual Studio 2010 Projects while upgrading all existing code to .NET 4.0 and rewriting missing sections of source code.• Mentored colleagues on ASP.NET, SQL Server, and SharePoint development and administration.

Designed Excel application and wrote SQL stored procedures to upload data for over fifty separate types of equipment into BP eProjects database. (Excel VBA, T-SQL)

• Developed authorization website for the global Cognos Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting system. (C# / ASP.NET, IIS, PL/SQL, Cognos 7)• Developed reports website for the global Accounts Payable Automation system. (T-SQL)• Implemented and made enhancements to the global Accounts Payable Automation system. (VB 6.0, SERdistiller 3.0, Citrix MetaFrame)• Deployed the TOWER Software TRIM Context 6 document control system in multiple locations worldwide.• Developed Web-based searchable database of technical tips, call-flow templates, and workflows. (Microsoft Index Server, IIS)
