I am a Professor of Practice at Monash Business School in Melbourne, where I oversee a course on investment strategy, chair a venture capital accelerator, and lead a team of academics conducting research with practical relevance to the investment industry. Additionally, I serve as an advisor to several organizations, including the Board Investment Committee of a large profit-to-member superannuation fund.My prior full time professional career in the investment business spans over two decades. I have held managing director roles at the investment banks Salomon Brothers, Citigroup Global Markets, Daiwa Capital Markets, and the event-driven hedge fund manager Symphony Financial Partners. I remain an active principal investor in all major listed and unlisted asset classes, which helps in blending practical knowledge with academic rigor in both my educational and advisory work.
