Engineer In Training
During my time in process engineering, I developed a deep understanding of engineering principles, honing skills across multiple disciplines. My day-to-day role involved performing essential design calculations, such as hydraulic and mass balance equations, and sizing critical equipment like PSVs, PRVs, pumps, and heat exchangers. I also played a key role in process simulation and meticulously documented fieldwork to support ongoing project initiatives.I worked closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize process improvements, ensuring that operational efficiency was constantly optimized. By modifying and reviewing technical drawings, including P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and plot plans, I supported the seamless execution of projects from planning through to completion.One of my key contributions was actively participating in commissioning and qualification protocol development, helping to ensure smooth transitions from design to operation. Additionally, I was committed to maintaining the highest safety standards, conducting risk assessments, and facilitating HAZOP, LOPA, and JHA analyses to proactively identify and mitigate workplace hazards. This focus on safety not only ensured compliance but also cultivated a secure and productive working environment.
