Through leading a team of Store Managers, I was accountable for the delivery of safety, financial and operational performance targets across a network of 11 stores. I was accountable for establishing a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement, and for the coaching and development of my team.Key Responsibilities:• Improve key safety lagging indicators to deliver zero harm to people and environment.• Deliver key financial metrics.i.e. EBIT, GM, P&L and VM.• Support network plans within market.• Devise and Implement loyalty and Reward schemes within cluster• Build retail capability of store teams through Continuous Improvement of talent pool.• Increase stability and reduce vacancies/surplus personnel appropriate to my cluster structure.• Motivate and energise a team of Store Managers, including a Relief Store Manager, and store staff, to ensure the highest standards of operational excellence and drive continuous improvement• Provide clear direction and motivation to Store Managers re: store targets, advertising campaigns and consumer or store staff incentive programs / challenges, ensuring successful implementation and driving successful results• Create and support clear delegation and accountability consistent with BP Requirements• Through actions and behaviours, create an environment where the workforce are informed, involved and enabled to do their jobs• Drive the delivery of Store and Food Sales against plan through identifying and implementing / escalating growth opportunities, and support the delivery of Fuel volumes versus plan through ensuring store standards are maintained and pricing concerns escalated.• Monitor and maintain effective controls in cash, loss prevention and cost management, including undertaking monthly cash audits • Maintain bottom line accountability for the delivery of costs and controls (incl. Shrink, Food Waste, Drive Offs, Cash Shorts, budgets, etc)

In this secondment role of Regional Merchandise Manager my main accountability was to drives profit results for the market, supporting national trading strategies and Area Managers.Key Responsibilities:• Effectively and efficiently ran business meetings to ensure objectives are met timely.• Communicated effectively and coordinate all national merchandise initiative• Seek new business opportunities in line with market plan.• Develop relationships with all internal teams for effective results.

Whilst doing this secondment role in Bp logistics I worked closely with commercial sales manager and Logistics manager to ensure Bp clienteles get the best market rate for bulk fuel order delivery. I was also responsible for generating and analying reports.Key responsiblities:• Building and maintaining relationships with key stake holders. • Generating and Analysing Reports. • Sourcing competitive rates. • Arrange and lead Partnering and toolbox meetings

I was responsible for all businees aspects of my store. People management, stock control, Budgeting, achieving targets and being the best amongst the group.

I was responsible for all aspects of the business including recruitment, managing, hiring and terminations of staff of multiple stores. As this was privately run business I managed my store and also managed SM of two other stores. Strategic pricing negotiation with supplier helped achieve great results
