My role is to support the student that needs Optimal Learning, support, in his/her school academics by helping fill in the gaps in the learning process, to help the student build self-confidence as well as to promote positive interaction in the classroom by helping the student focus on important concepts, and over all help the student to develop academic and social skills.I provide general assistance and classroom management to the classroom teacher and other students in the focus student's classroom. I collect continuous observational data regarding the focus student and write daily updates.

I am a Specialist Teacher having 9 years of working experience with differently abled children in India.We have recently shifted to Singapore in November 2016. I have completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Special Education (Multiple Disabilities: Physical & Neurological) from ADAPT (Mumbai, India), formerly known as Spastics Society of India, in 2003 – 2004. This course is recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India, a statutory body to regulate and monitor services given to differently abled persons.ADAPT is one of the foremost non-profit organization in the country. It was the first special school in India for children with Cerebral Palsy. After completion of my course, I joined Disha – A Resource Centre for the Disabled in Jaipur, Rajasthan and worked there for a period of 3 years.At Disha, being a Special Educator, I prepared children to appear for the National Institute of Open Schooling examinations. Apart from my regular job of a Special Educator, I coordinated and worked as a Resource Person in organizing various training programmes in many districts of Rajasthan under the SNAC scheme of National Trust. I was also associated with, in house training programme and worked as a lecturer for students pursuing their Diploma in Special Education, Cerebral Palsy. At Mumbai, I have worked with two Special schools, 2 years each, as a Special Educator and a Remedial Therapist.I will be grateful to you if you grant me the opportunity to utilize myself in various gamut of activities in your organization. In addition to my teaching skills, I would also like to get involved with other aspects of the organization whether that be in house training programmes. I am also open to various opportunities which can increase my knowledge to support my work technically keeping pace with the time.
