Role Summary: With the use of basic laboratory techniques and experience such as flow cytometry and sperm physiology, the lab technician performs the daily tasks. Learn to operate several sorting units at one time.Responsibilities:• Operate and maintain sorters.• Operate lab computers for data entry.• Participate in the daily production of product samples, emphasizing sterility and semen quality.• Perform daily job duties including sorter start-up, calibration, sort setup and shut down. In addition, sorter cleaning, sterilization, and bacterial testing.• Always use sterile technics to avoid contaminating any laboratory areas samples or instrumentation.• Exhibit proper handling of potentially hazardous chemical and biological agents and/or radiation sources in workplaces.• Monitor inventory levels and proper storage of materials and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures.• Operate a centrifuge machine to collect the sediment from the sorted product samples.• Measuring the sample to get the exact value with the help of a flow cytometer. • Filling and freezing product samples in the fridge and storing them in the liquid Nitrogen tank.
