Deepthi is an enterprising and curious natured L&D professional with 10 plus years of experience across Academia, Urban planning and Real estate sectors. She started her career with a Customer Relations role in a Real estate firm which required her to cater to the documentation and customer experience of a new home buyer’s journey until the possession of their home. This role gave her a good understanding of a customer-centric approach, decision making and developed communication and interpersonal skills. Her interest in the understanding the dynamics of the bigger picture (City/State level) , led her to pursue Post graduation and later teach in the dynamic field of Urban Planning. As an Asst. Professor, her past experience in real estate helped leverage a deeper understanding of teaching the planning functions at city, district, town, and village level. Her innate focus on making learning a fun and thought provoking experience led her to be the Faculty Advisor and Planning Studio Incharge, curating student-centric learning material, studio assignments. Her empathic approach to problems and lifelong learning attitude with entrepreneurial mindset helped her transition to the L&D domain, creating online learning solutions for corporate and educational institutions. Her current areas of focus are Online learning solutions, Storyboarding, Simulations, and Design thinking. Mentoring young students (college goers and underprivileged children) on mental health and Life Skills is how she spends most of her weekends. Off the radar, she’s mostly engaging in creative experiences, gardening and staying fit with yoga and meditation.
