I am a passionate medical educator and physician in Portland, Oregon. I am currently blessed with the opportunity to work in a role where medicine and education intersect at the National University of Natural Medicine. As Dean of Clinical Affairs, I design and lead the clinic education curricula throughout the four years of undergraduate medical education. As Dean of Graduate Medical Education, I develop, implement, and assess graduate level training sites to ensure high quality residency programs. I am an active teacher in medical education and a research mentor for residents and students, with a focus on competency-based medical education, learner assessment, coaching and remediation. In my role serving patients in community health centers, I strive to restore physical, mental and emotional health using integrative medicine.
