As a student representative, I was responsible for providing input to the board and advising them on student-centered issues. Elected by my peers, I had voting rights on the board. I was also responsible for reaching out to peer tutors, facilitating partnerships between schools, and maintaining peer tutor and alumni contact lists.

Chosen as 1 of 100 students in the 2020 Class of the Disney Dreamers Academy (1% acceptance rate). This program is a collaboration between Steve Harvey and Essence Magazine to bring 100 exceptional young people to Disney World for 4 days.
