I studied Animal nutrition, and while I'm still in the agricultural industry, my expertise lie in large data handling, statistics and regressions.I had humble beginnings as an intern at AFGRI while completing my MSc. During that time, I worked on many Broiler feed trials and was involved with everything from ordering chicks, to formulation of feed and finally doing the statistics on the results. That is where my love of data analysis and statistics bloomed.I had an incredible mentor that taught me the ins and outs of Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR) and how it is used in the industry to improve quality control of animal feed. I quickly took over all the NIR management and calibration development. After 2 years of working with NIR calibrations and management, I additionally went for advanced NIR calibration training at FOSS in Denmark in 2018 and Perten in Sweden in 2019.I currently work at Masterlab as a NIR applications specialist in the Netherlands.I'm an overly optimistic person and easy to work with. I have a strong affinity for mastering new software and enjoy having my logic tested. Problem solving is not only a strength, but a passion of mine.
