CurrentResponsible for working collaboratively with member experiencing financial hardships in order to arrive at solutions that enable them to make repayment of outstanding debts and mitigate losses to the credit union. • Perform all responsibilities in accordance with BECU Competencies, compliance, regulatory and Information Protection requirements. • Analyze and fully assess a member’s financial position and determine appropriate loss mitigation solutions that enable them to work through… Show more Responsible for working collaboratively with member experiencing financial hardships in order to arrive at solutions that enable them to make repayment of outstanding debts and mitigate losses to the credit union. • Perform all responsibilities in accordance with BECU Competencies, compliance, regulatory and Information Protection requirements. • Analyze and fully assess a member’s financial position and determine appropriate loss mitigation solutions that enable them to work through financial hardships, while minimizing losses to the credit union.• Process decision loan modification requests and develop repayment options for members.• Serve as an escalation point for complex loss management related issues.• Provide financial and debt management related counseling to members.• Ensure that all members receive prompt, efficient, courteous and professional service, and that member concerns are resolved promptly and courteously, with follow through and resolution.• Keep current on community referral services and be proficient at discussing the same with credit union members.• Prepare and maintain accurate records of all member contacts, including spending and repayment plans, legal documentation, modification agreements and written correspondence.• Work with management to identify team needs as they relate to training, mentoring, scheduling, projects, process and procedure revisions, and workflow enhancements.
