After earning 10 All-American honors and a national championship title for the sport ofspringboard and platform diving, Henry moved to New York City to be a part of the TeachFor America program teaching sixth graders in the South Bronx, NY. Surprised by thecontinuous pain from old diving injuries, Henry ventured into his first yoga class at thesuggestion of a friend. Soon after, Henry found himself teaching his first yoga class andwithin a few months he was asked to lead a national wellness brand in opening studios acrossthe USA: Boston, Bridgehampton, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Forever thestudent, Henry made his way back to his hometown, Houston, TX, to pursue his MBA inReal Estate Finance at Rice University where his future business name DEFINE was born. Hecontinued his education at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated withdistinction with a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology focusing on the application ofwellbeing practices in community and organizational settings.Taken from the inspiration that we all must "define" our role in this world, DEFINE wasfounded in 2009 because of Henry's great passion for body and mind wellbeing. Afteropening more than 20 DEFINE locations across the USA and Dubai, Henry has recentlybegun his next business adventure, co-founding a new multi-family apartment communitycalled Define Living. Define Living, located in Houston, TX. Define Living is founded on thecore principles of wellbeing for individuals and communities. A first-of-it's-kind propertythat integrates movement, nutrition, mindfulness, and positive psychology to elevatewellbeing for all residents. Henry is also a trusted wellbeing expert and positive psychologypractitioner.
