We are Defire, the winner of Copernicus Hackathon 2020 in Graz (Austria). Due to the changing of the climate, there is an increasing danger of wildfire throughout several areas of the Earth. Our vision is to empower governments and fire departments to better allocate resources and enable them to act before the fires spark, providing smart forest fire prediction solutions. TECHHOUSE (Graz) is also currently supporting our ideas and target, hosting us during our development.During the Copernicus Hackathon 2020 we used artificial intelligence to develop a model, based on sentinel and Gis data, which is able to determine the risk of a fire outbreak. We have started to use the advantages of Copernicus data and the artificial intelligence to tackle the growing issue of wildfires.
