As a clinically trained Mental Health Counselor, licensed in the states of Maryland, Texas and Arizona, I am committed to upholding the highest standards of care and professionalism in the field of behavioral health. I have over 10 years of experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with a variety of life stressors including LGBTQIA+ issues, male and female sexual concerns, trauma, grief, mood/personality disorders, and eating disorders. I also have extensive and specialized experience working with PTSD, gender dysphoria, and neurodiversity. Working in a variety of settings throughout my career has fueled my passion for learning and growth. Since my early beginnings in community mental health serving marginalized, minority communities, I have since worked in nearly every setting available within my field. This includes school-based counseling, group counseling, inpatient mental health, private practice, academia, and research. Most recently, I continued my passion for learning and helping others as Clinical Director for a residential treatment facility specializing in eating disorders. In addition to my clinical work, I have a particular interest in the interplay between mind and body health. This led to the completion of a 200-hour yoga and mindfulness certification in Bali, Indonesia, as well as the development of my own company, Find Your Fit. I have also been a guest speaker on podcasts, provided advanced trainings, and have a passion for supporting young counselors and entrepreneurs as they work to develop their skills and find their niche within the mental health community. I currently balance my time in various contract and consulting roles, private practice, and in the development and implementation of Find Your Fit in treatment facilities and schools to provide additional support in the form of yoga, mindfulness, and meditation. My extensive experience, exceptional leadership, and impressive contributions to the field make me a highly respected and sought-after clinician.
