Project Manager – Electrification
CurrentTransform the PMO• Support and advise PMO Manager on the transformation and stand-up of a professional Project Management Office, including design & drafting all documentation, governance, procedures, and standards from the ground up. Design and implement standards for internally controlled procedures and governance. Create and roll-out Project Reporting, Budget controls, and Change Management Procedures. Document and value-stream map existing business process flows, identify and advise corrective action for bottlenecks and inefficient business processes.• Mentor and train early-career PMs on industry-standard good practices.Deliver safe, high quality, profitable Projects• Manage and execute a portfolio of electrification & power distribution projects from engineering & design through fabrication, shipping, transition to aftermarket & warranty, and project closeout.• Create detailed master schedule including internal & external scope & requirements• Support Project Engineering & Design, Manage Vendor submittals and Long Lead procurement process• Oversee document control for Issue For Approval & Issue for Construction processes.• Coordinate with Procurement/Supply chain for issuance of Purchase Orders, expedite critical suppliers, resolution of schedule conflicts, approval of budget commitments and invoices.• Support Manufacturing on intake of Customer-furnished Equipment and schedule conflicts• Coordinate Quality checkpoints, witness and inspection points, and Factory Acceptance Testing• Manage Shipment schedule and freight coordination• Oversee update and issuance of As-Built documentation and Project Closeouts.• Develop change orders and oversee the Management of Change for cost, schedule, and risk.
