Independent InventorHome Jun 2013 - PresentBrusselsI continue working on an ornithopter, this times in my garage, at a smaller scale (1m wingspan) and motorized, with a slightly different design. I achieved a lift force of 0.15N to 0.3N which is in agreement with my calculations, my previous experiments (human powered) and very promising for further developments (i.e. human scale ornithopter). PostdocUlb Oct 2012 - Jun 2013I develop currently a human powered ornithopter, i.e. a plane flying by flapping flight, human powered based on a revolutionary principe finishing its design phase.I design and realise allmost all the elements of the ornithopter, have allready developed and tested a first version of the ornithopter prototype. That version allowed to validate the design, and indicated the improvements to realise in order to achieve a human powered flight. Phd StudentUniversité Libre De Bruxelles Aug 2008 - Oct 2012I developed a femtosecond laser fourier transform cavity enhanced high resolution molecular spectroscopy tool currently used by another PHD student, achieving 10-9 cm-1 minimal absorption coefficient with a resolution of 0,02 cm-1 and a bandlength from 1,2 to 1,7 micrometer. It allowed to analyse the molecules of CO2, OCS, CS2, propyne, and acetylene.
