Mrs. Moore has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a heavy focus on Leadership. She is a State of Georgia certified Communications Officer with COML certification along with her State of Georgia Professional Certified Emergency Manager (CEM®) as well as a certified Floodplain Manager. She has served since 1989 in Public Service through the Courts, E-911 and all Public Safety divisions along with Private EMS. She has aided in emergency training and emergency exercise development at both the local and state level. Mrs. Moore also served as the primary local point of contact for GEMA and FEMA while also serving as the primary local management of multiple local federal disaster declarations. She has a vast amount of training from multiple NGO, Local, State and Federal sources. Mrs. Moore is a true example of passion for serving, excellence in leadership and team building with a deep knowledge and extensive training in the National Incident Management Systems. Her experience in the MedComm Communication Manager and 911 Director roles has enabled the 911 and private EMS systems in Georgia to grow and help millions through her ongoing leadership and teamwork with Emergency and Non-Emergency Dispatchers. Her vast experience in Emergency Management and hazard mitigation has helped to prepare for, respond to, recover from and mitigate against a myriad of disaster vulnerabilities and hazards. Her attention to detail and multiple years in grant preparation has provided millions of dollars in cost recovery in awarded federal declarations and millions in grant funds to local governments. Mrs. Moore has a passion for all things related to dispatch communications, emergency management, planning, grant preparation and team development.
