As part of a two-person team, I co-managed a grantmaking and professionaldevelopment program supporting artists in Greater Boston, assisting applicants,coordinating professional development opportunities, and tracking and promoting eachproject. I am particularly proud to have:- Supported more than 50 grantee artists to execute publicly engaged projects in allartistic disciplines.- Increased the number of applicants for the pilot's final deadline through strategiconline and print marketing.- Facilitated information sessions to present the program and answer questions from prospective applicants.- Created a blog series to ensure publicity for all artist projects.- Documented processes for program administration and created a procedure manualfor future use.

Ethos' Rural Outreach Program provides teaching support to rural Oregon communities that cannot otherwise provide music education in their communities. As Rural Music Facilitator, my sites were Long Creek and Monument. To provide quality musical education and enrichment to rural communities, I:- Developed relationships with community members through active participation in community activities.- Developed and executed community engagement strategies in consultation with staff and volunteers.- Produced and publicized events that attracted more than 25% of town's population.- Wrote a proposal to receive songbooks that allowed me to conducted community singing workshops.Coordinated and instructed music classes and lessons for 50+ students and community members aged 4-74.- Created unique lesson plans to teach classroom music for grades K-8 with students at different ages in each class, differentiating learning within activities to challenge and provide leadership opportunities for older students.
