I was chosen in 2017 to open the first Blaze Pizza in the state. After 2 weeks of intense training in Pasadena, California I hit the ground running to meet an opening deadline of Valentines day 2018. Working with contractors, city officials, vendors, the building landlord the goal was met. Accountable for forecasting and controlling food costs and waste, preparing financial reports, HR management, merchandising, inventory control, and staffing.During this time, I increased coffee shop sales by 42.8% from $36.4K to $52K in less than 1 year, boosted employee productivity and avoided 360 hours of overtime, established cross-training programs and schedules, raised customer satisfaction rate from 71% to 83%, andinitiated employee recognition program that improved staff morale.During this time we had an issue of a federal job freeze.
