Deidre holds the strategic and operational leadership role at Hoskins & Company, focusing on long-term growth, profitability, employee and client satisfaction. She manages daily operations and collaborates closely with the partners to meet the firm's objectives. Additionally, She is partner and the managing member of Hoskins Financial, LLC, an affiliate of Hoskins & Company, offering Investment Advisory Services and Personal Financial Planning.Deidre's career at Hoskins & Company began in 1996 as the Office Administrator, where she assisted in transitioning the back-office operations from DOS to Windows. She advanced to become a Small Business Specialist, setting up and training clients on Windows-based accounting systems. In 2003, after relocating to the Chicago suburbs with her family, Deidre became an early adopter of remote work, utilizing a hybrid work model and frequently commuting between cities. Her pioneering remote work experience is featured on the Hoskins & Company Blog.In 2004, Deidre embraced the role of Marketing Representative. After returning to Nashville in 2009, following a relocation to Buenos Aires, Argentina, due to her husband's international executive role, she assumed the position of Marketing Director. She served in this capacity until 2018, and spent the last three years managing marketing initiatives while dividing her time between Nashville and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Her permanent return to Nashville in 2018 led to her promotion to Director of Business Development. Subsequently, her international commutes ended.Deidre began her undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University, majoring in Civil Engineering. She continued her education completing accounting and business classes in the Volunteer State Community College University Parallel Program in Business and honed her marketing skills through the University of California Berkeley's Haas School of Business Certificate Program in Marketing. Deidre holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Business Leadership from Lipscomb University and is enrolled in the National Minority Supplier Development Council's Center Of Excellence Certificate Program, in partnership with Rutgers University Center for Urban Entrepreneurship & Economic Development.A proponent of small business development, Deidre has served on the Board of Directors of the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce and the Nashville Black Chamber of Commerce, where she headed the Programs and Education Committee. Deidre also serves as a mentor for Christian Community Services, Incorporated.
