Day to day operations on the network engineering team for Seton Family of Doctors. The team is responsible for 10 acute hospitals and 30+ medical clinics all throughout central Texas. Handled escalations, planned equipment refresh projects, equipment quotes and ordering. Third-tier escalation for network issues. Assisted with design and implementation of NAC pilot to replace network authentication throughout the Seton enterprise network.

Managed day to day operations of the network engineering team for Seton Family of Doctors. Managed escalations, scheduled project resources, oversaw equipment quotes and ordering. Designed the network for both the Seton Administration Offices building (600,000 sq ft) and Seton Medical Center Hays (400,000 sq ft) and supervised installation of both wired and wireless infrastructure through to completion. Assisted in network design for all of Seton’s campuses. Collaborated on the design and implementation of one of Austin’s largest wireless infrastructures. Designed and implemented seamless wireless login systems across all Seton campuses, while separately allowing public access at all sites. Performed day to day management and administration of PostgreSQL database servers used for both wireless authentication and intra- and extra-net websites. Also created centrally managed repository for all network authentication, both wired and wireless. Created inbound/outbound enterprise fax solution. Designed, implemented and maintain enterprise email system. Performed day-to-day operational support and troubleshooting of Seton’s network and over 30 UNIX servers.

Assisted customers with disaster recovery of servers, configuring network services, RAID, Parallel Cluster services, and High-Availability Services. Handled software and hardware problem determination and diagnostics.

Performed miscellaneous duties, such as backups, disk maintenance and troubleshooting. Participated in the conversion of the school's network from coax ACRNET to Ethernet running Novell 3.12. Also installed and maintained a separate network running Novell 3.12.
