Day to Day: Daily dealing volumes of 300 trades approx. per day constituting a focus on automation of processes. I was involved in client service and internal operational calls; responsible for equitable distribution of workload among administrators, ensuring sufficient cover on team, approving overtime & annual leave, organising system access, rolling out performance appraisals and goal setting, organising training schedules and cross training of functions, holding regular team meetings etc. TA Investor Dealing systems utilised: AllFunds, SWIFT, FundSettle, FundServ, Vestima, Clearstream, Euroclear, fax, NSCC, NTAS and Calastone.I was solely responsible for a team Procedure Review, i.e. creating and updating all procedures and checklists to a standardised format to capture all processes and functions carried out by the team as a whole.Project Work: I implemented efficiency improvements in Euroclear and Clearstream controls and balance reconciliation, leading an upgrade of the Creation Online system following testing etc.I launched an Investor Automation project that involved approaching investors to encourage migration of investor dealing from fax to SWIFT, engaging in testing prior to go live date. This constituted an approximate decrease of 20% of fax trading faxes in favour of SWIFT. -
