So Sell It is an online global trading community born in Ireland that allows users to buy, swap, sell & get direct offers on their goods - for free. The idea for So Sell It was developed over two years ago from an original plan of creating a site where people could get direct offers on the resale of the latest electronic items. During the site’s development the decision was made to expand the features and create a free community site where people can do everything – buy, sell, swap and get direct offers. And so, SoSellit.com was born! I was hired as an Online Marketing Co-ordinator for the Carlton Group, to cover a maternity contract, but after a few months in the role I was promoted to Group Online Marketing Manager. My duties in this role included;• Managing the online marketing for all hotels in the Carlton Group including negotiating rates, measuring return on all adverts and overseeing the design of all campaigns• Creating and implementing annual digital marketing and social media strategies• Responsibility for the daily management of all social media channels • Managing all Pay Per Click(PPC) campaigns• Development and implementation of the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategy• Writing and optimising blog posts.• Creating and amending website content for all sites• Researching new and upcoming developments in digital marketing

I worked as a Sales & Marketing Manager for their Carlton Group in their Athy property, the Carlton Abbey Hotel. I was promoted to this role following a three month trial in the position and my duties included;• Targeting business for the hotel through sales calls to local and national companies and organisations• Quoting and booking all conference and banqueting events and managing the enquiries from the initial stage right up to the day of the event• Managing all the marketing for the hotel including organising the design, negotiating the rates and measuring the return

I began my career with the Carlton Group when I was hired as the Front Office Manager of the Carlton Abbey Hotel in Athy and my duties included;• Training all reception and reservations staff• Implementing SOP standards• Handling all customer queries/complaints• Overseeing all reservations bookings and reports• Writing accommodation budgets and forecasts
