Personal and Learning Objectives Paper As my journey began after graduating from high school, I knew that I wanted to own something for myself and be of service to people. At Eli Whitney R. V. T. High School, I pursued Culinary Arts as well as Business. In this technical high school, students had a choice of what type of trade as well as a math class they would like to pursue for the continuation of academic classes. Throughout the years, I established myself as a Chef Tournant, by obtaining my Associates Degree in Food Service Management from Gateway Community Technical College. Cooking experience in a wide range of cuisines from fine dining to fast food. I have been able to work at Omni New Haven Hotel, a 4-Star, 4-Diamond hotel in New Haven, Connecticut. While I was attending the University of New Haven, I was able to participate in Walt Disney World College Program, Magic Kingdom. I took a college course Organizational Leadership. I obtained my college credits and worked in Orlando, Florida for six months. I currently work for Allied Barton Security Services, as a security officer. I have been working for them a little over one year. I like it due to my post is at U. M.W. In Fredericksburg. Prior employment. Consisted of working for Panera Bread as a Day Baker in Mechanicsville, Virginia. I had to get another job due to medical reasons as well as the fact that the commute was too long and affecting my studies. I decided to enter the field of security due to having authority. It is and can be challenging. I have a lot of family military background from first cousins to great aunts and uncles. And on a personal note, I feel security fits my demeanor. I am detail oriented; I do not date anyone with whom I work, attend school or attend church. I like to do things in order and by the book. And I will take time to help someone if they seriously need help. I do have a passion and a need to assist others.
