• Collaborate with the Board of Directors, committees, management team, and staff to deliver superior products and services to members• Direct all Credit Union operations, including Accounting, planning, budgeting, strategic planning, recommending, and implementing policies and procedures• Process all Regulatory Reports (NCUA Call Report) and responsible for the Credit Union’s annual Exam, Audit, and all other yearly audits such as: BSA, ACH, and IT / Penetration Testing• Implement new products and services such as Bill Pay, Zelle, Virtual Banking, Mobile Banking, and Doc-U-Sign, ATMs and establish reporting to all three credit bureaus• Interpret and present ALM (McQueen) reports quarterly to the Board• Negotiate staff union contracts and process weekly payroll (ADP) / journal entries, monthly fringe benefits, and associate annual reports• Responsible for purchasing investments and supervising monthly reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations• Transformed the Credit Union from an occupational-based field of membership to a community financial institution• Improved the Credit Union’s regulatory ranking, achieving NCUA’s highest rating for safety and soundness• Oversee the credit union’s lending area implementing policies, and procedures to improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the lending program for the benefit of the membership and the credit union• Improve collections efforts for the Credit Union, reducing account delinquency from 6% to 0.4%• Responsible for developing and administering the credit union’s bank secrecy act/anti-money laundering program• Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills across all levels, with an ability to persuade and influence, ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion, and maintain confidentiality
