Led all aspects of planning and execution of integrating newly acquired New Mexico Gas Company, including chairing senior executive oversight team, leading integration management office and 12 integration teams, co-leading regulatory activities for transaction approval and relocating to New Mexico to ensure successful achievement of projected synergies.

Led development of corporate strategies to achieve growth including gas and electric mergers and acquisitions, electric generation optimization, and investment in emerging technologies. Ensured execution of corporate efficiency and process improvement initiatives, and was directly responsible for information technology, telecommunications, and enterprise system consolidations along with oversight for corporate governance including internal auditing, safety, ethics and compliance, and internal and external corporate communications.

Led development and implementation of regulatory strategies to achieve corporate business objectives for regulated gas and electric utilities and unregulated electric operations before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and state utility commissions in Florida, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. Strategies included traditional rate design and ratemaking approaches, restructuring initiatives, incentive-based plans, and corporate strategies, including climate and renewable policies. Also led all aspects of customer service operations from post-meter read to billing and collections, including bad debt management. Operations included call center, new construction and large customer account management, energy management services, billing and collections, and revenue recovery.

Directed all aspects of corporation's internal auditing function for its regulated and unregulated businesses. Developed and implemented code of ethics trainings and related materials for dissemination ion throughout TECO Energy.

Selected by company President to develop and implement strategies for reducing healthcare costs and to provide financial and budgetary support to Human Resources department. Managed and monitored all employee benefits operations including three healthcare plans, employee assistance program, prescription card program and multiple fitness facilities.
