Provide advocacy and support for whole-family academic achievement, with an emphasis on underrepresented education professionals and the minority population students they serve from preschool through graduate studies. Serve as an umbrella organization for members engaged in innovative research surrounding student achievement and/or effective education delivery methodology; assist those members in the promotion and dissemination of their research and other written materials created to advance understanding of prevailing minority education issues. Additional work includes consultation and event planning and execution services that utilize research-based best and promising practices in education innovation to improve education outcomes for the most AT-PROMISE students of color, with a heavy emphasis on 1. male academic retention and success and 2. women participation and success in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.).

I rely on skills I have obtained through education and experience to advocate on behalf of students of color by building a national network of education professionals to serve as subject matter experts for school districts, colleges, universities and their corporate partners. Our mission is to educate the educators responsibility for learning delivery through data and experiential learning opportunities in order to promote better understanding and appreciation for the minority learning community, en masse. I use my Communications background to provide information about innovative best practices and to spotlight educators who are demonstrating the greatest promise in improving outcomes for minority learners.

Primary responsibility to ensure more African Americans and Latinos in Texas have access to and support in obtaining a higher education. I worked closely with state legislators, college administrators and other key community leaders to share information regarding best practices for programs designed to increase the number of blacks and Latinos in the higher education pipeline. I built coalitions and promoted collaborative efforts among stakeholders in the interest of underrepresented students in the state.
