I moved from Chicago, IL U.S.A. to Kalmar, Sweden in 2016. I was a stay home papa for the first 2 years of living here for my newborn daughter. I studied SFI up until 2018 when I began a Design degree at Linnaeus University in Kalmar, Sweden. I graduated in June of 2021. I studied Swedish at university but I am a Native English speaker. I understand conversational Swedish and practice every day with my daughter (now 8 years old). I am a hard worker with a kind and easygoing attitude. My background and job experience is mostly in IT / Technical Support and Education work. Patience is a virtue in these fields and this is my most prevalent skill. I have also done Freelance Audio/Visual Design work, Sound Design and have created Music Score for film. I love to teach in all areas of study but English or Music is my strongest knowledge base. I enjoy classroom culture but have also tutored student in English online in a one on one format. I am passionate about music and play many instruments. I am a music composer and I operate my own studio where I manage the start to finish production of music. I am a DIY audio engineer who has recorded many albums worth of music over the past 30 years. I have spent a lot of time teaching my daughter to play piano thru the Suzuki method. I give a range of educational lessons. Anything from learning an instrument to music performance.
