In 2019, I finished school with a degree in Naturopathic Medicine and was ready to take on the world. I moved to Colorado with a vision of starting a private practice to use my training to bring equitable healthcare to marginalized communities - and then the world shut down. I quickly needed to pivot my focus and decide how I was going to use my education in ways that I had not yet envisioned. I was fortunate enough to find a position that has forced me to adapt my skills to provide programs to disenfranchised communities of modest means in the Denver Metro area. I am dedicated to providing individuals and families with services that increase their ability to make independent choices that support the social determinants of health and, therefore, healthy lifestyles and outcomes. I am always looking for new ways to expand my reach and connect with other professionals that are passionate about health equity and social justice. I'm grateful for the change in the career I once imagined and am excited to see where this journey continues to take me.
