As the E-Commerce Coordinator I am responsible for helping to maintain and update Xanterra's retail websites for multiple national park properties including Yellowstone and Grand Canyon. This includes photographing product, editing photos, creating web banners and sliders, and creating graphics for monthly promotions. I also work with the retail buying team to plan product selections and promotions, as well as the marketing department to schedule and execute the events. I also help with graphic design projects as needed that include product/logo designs, store graphics, printed and digital designs.

I began taking photographs in high school and simply never stopped. During this time period I started working as a freelance photographer for the local newspaper, The Williamson County Sun. I spent the next 4 years working for them and growing and expanding my skills while also attending community college. I transferred to Angelo Sate University in 2004 and quickly began working as the photo editor for the school newspaper, which I continued until I graduated in 2007. After completing my bachelor degrees, I decided to travel and build my photography portfolio. I didn't realize at the time that I would spend the next 10 years working odd jobs in various places, which included Scotland, New Mexico, New Zealand, but ventually making Yellowstone National Park my landing place. I was able to focus on landscape and wildlife photography, while eventually working on graphic design projects for Xanterra's retail stores in the park and online. I recently have relocated back to my hometown of Georgetown, TX and am excited to continue to expand my skills in both photography and graphic design. I specialize in photojournalism, travel, wildlife, landscape, portrait, and sports and action photography. My graphic design projects include logos, web banners, advertising print design, display packages, and more.

As a retail coordinator I am responsible for purchasing merchandise for 9 busy retail stores in Yellowstone National Park. This includes going to buying shows, meeting with vendors, coordinating products, creating projections, and placing the orders. I handle many of the USA vendor accounts for the retail outlets in Yellowstone. My role also includes photography and graphic design work, such as creating web banners, photographing items for the retail website, and providing images for the Yellowstone retail E-blast specials sent out monthly. This also includes coordinating and scheduling the promotions with the marketing department, which have significantly increased the website's sales. I also create new display materials for our stores in the park that include historic information, store themes, and the graphic packages for Lake Lodge, Canyon's Activity Store, and the Mammoth Hotel Gift Shop. I also assist the Merchandising Manager with store set-ups and keeping the stores up to our visual merchandising standards.

Schedule staff, adhere to budgets, keep store up to high standards, maintain positive attitude in store, open and close store for season, and keep a happy staff.
