As a quality engineer my role is to:• Review business and functional requirements;• Create test specifications;• Component testing and system integration testing;• Defect logging and tracking (JIRA);• Automation testing (using an internal component TestHarness);• Release management tasks;• Solution / end-to-end testingMy focus at ACI is the integration testing of ACI components in an end-to-end environment.

As a Quality Assurance Analyst my role is to:• Develop test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple projects of varying size;• Communicates task progress and status of deliverables to the Project Manager;• Actively conduct all aspects of the testing lifecycle and maintain communication with other analysts, developers, Project Manager and users in support of all testing cycles;• Coordinates defect validation with test team and assists the development team in recreating defects;• Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process.The majority of my testing has been database orientated by creating SQL test cases and queries, but more recently I have been tasked to implement automation testing using Selenium in C#.

As an analyst, my role on client engagements was as Accountant in Charge (AIC), which entails managing 1 or 2 junior team members on client engagements. I had to continually interact with clients to build client relationships and obtain information, communicate back to the supervisor/manager as to the project progress / budget vs. actual / client delays / report writing and providing control for inefficiencies identified at client.
