Hi, my name is Dejan Mircetic and I’m research associate at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia.I have obtained my Ph.D. at the University of Novi Sad, in the area of time series forecasting & supply chain analytics and published more than 40 scientific papers. The inspiration for my papers is majority driven by real problems from my consultancy projects in contemporary business & industry. Moreover, I have served as the supply chain analyst for several logistics companies, where he led teams for designing machine learning solutions for optimizing supply chains. Currently, I lead or contribute on 7 different projects. Additionally, I serve as a consulting machine learning expert for a USAID humanitarian project, with a strong wish and desire to create a solution that will improve the everyday life of people in Africa. Accordingly, together with a Macro-Eyes company, I’m in charge of developing an AI solution to enhance the healthcare system of Côte d'Ivoire.At the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia, I work on projects related to the application of AI solutions to business & industry problems. Currently, I’m leading the ISIOP project, part of the AIPlan4EU project funded under the Horizon Europe research and innovation programme. Together with my colleagues, I’m designing the new AI solution for Agromarket Srbija – the leading company in the agricultural business in South-East Europe.If you like AI, logistics and supply chains, feel free to reach me.
