AEM Developer for Pearson PMC. The Pearson Marketing Cloud is a global Core Platform for delivering Digital Marketing and e-Commerce experience to global audience. Started by support the aem-core platform and more than 100 components. Participated supporting migration from AEM 6.0 to AEM 6.3/6.4. Part of the team that implemented and supported UKLearns (https://uklearns.pearson.com/). For that site built and improved importer for courses and integration with Shopify platform. As a Tech lead continue to support platform improvements and as a part of the core team has responsibility for monthly releases process. As a part of another team participate in building the search engine based on Algolia for several sites. Leading development role within the project (Guidle) in production since 2007. Actively develop the project together with client. During this period, we continue improving search based on Lucene. Started some services for cams and build cam player. Build and improved renditions engine. Engine migrated to EC2. Heavily used SQS. Moved image storage to S3. Utilised CloudFront, Varnish and nginx. New modules/improvements constantly developed; new releases deployed on a weekly basis. Worked as one of main developers/architects on Guidle (www.guidle.com) web marketing application. Guidle is platform for searching and maintaining offers related to events, leisure & hobbies, tourism, sport, culture, education, trade, etc. Beside this it is a network of cities and communities, tourism organizations, media, associations and other interest groups. In production since 2007, new modules/improvements constantly developed, new releases deployed on a monthly basis. Unlike the well known search engines, Guidle puts a strong emphasis on structured data. Developed a several (internal) business web applications for Austrian OMV (www.omv.com) for BroadVision and Tomcat servers (based on Java 1.3/5.0 and Tomcat 3/4/5.5). I’ve provided requirement analysis, (UML) design based on that analyze, development based on design, deployment and documenting. I’ve developed a lot of tools and libraries for speeding up the application development and played a major role in web development process standardization.Used technologies: JSP, Servlets, UML, iText, Oracle.
