For more than 10 years Daniel has worked on a wide range of projects within the architectural and design field throughout New Zealand. These projects include architectural components of civil infrastructure (bridges and civic shelters), community/ civic facilities, educational facilities, housing facilities, religious buildings and master planning of large developments. His experience encompasses all phases of the building industry from business case development to site observation and project delivery. With his competent knowledge of the New Zealand Building Construction Industry’s standards and regulations, Daniel is currently leading project teams and facilitating design coordination on projects in New Zealand.Daniel is competent in the industry leading technologies and software with the ability to pull on strengths of less known tools in the industry. He has a key interest in the development of design tools and how they can shape the way the industry operates.Whether composed from a single underlying narrative or a complex symbiosis of factors, Daniels hunger for design is as much about the processes and means of design as the generated design outcome itself. Daniels approach to design outfits each project as a unique event of process and outcome. His ability to formulate brief and key design drivers along with a vast knowledge of the industries tools to deliver a project, enables him to carefully tailor a process and design for each project.
