Tech lead on the Prime Gaming Integrations team. I support systems that handle ordering, eligibility, and fulfillment of billions of content claims and power websites on both amazon.com and twitch.tv. I build fulfillment web services to meet requirements from game publishers ranging from AAA developers to indie studios.- Designed and lead implementation for Amazon Game Studios' next-generation multi-tenant digital fulfillment orchestration service. The project delivered 1-month ahead of schedule and consolidated the fulfillment systems of 3 different Amazon teams, saving Amazon and developers weeks of person-effort per integration.- Created and evangelized an infrastructure framework for secure, optimized, and reusable components that was adopted by 4 Amazon teams and 15 projects in under a year. The framework is estimated to have reduced infrastructure codebases by up to 30% in size and delivery effort per-project by 5 engineer-days.- Designed and lead a re-architecture of the core Prime Gaming content claim dataplane service to enable infinite horizontal scalability, reducing 90th and 99th percentile API latencies by 80% and eliminating 1 engineer-day per month of operational overhead incurred by 100th percentile customers that exceeded our scaling limits.

Built and supported Amazon QLDB's frontend APIs from our public beta to our billionth billed request and beyond. I owned the internet-facing surfaces of 14 production cells, working on request routing, billing, vended metrics, DDoS protection, and auth for the world's first high-performance, managed, cryptographically verifiable database service.- I designed and implemented a revamped backend request routing algorithm that improved availability during intense traffic by up to 1000 basis points (10%) in production cells with zero customer impact during the live cutover to the new system.- I set the standard for oncall operations in the organization, leading trainings for over 30 engineers in the org for performing operations at AWS scale.- Established a testable, repeatable, consistent, and extensible process for releasing new versions of QLDB's open source libraries, and lead the release of QLDB's first 6 open source repositories on GitHub, PyPI, npm, and MavenCentral.

In AWS Transactional Services, I built out an infrastructure provisioning library that automated a manual server ordering process and reduced the human effort required for cell builds and operational events by 1 engineer day per month.In Amazon QLDB, I revamped the entire organization's infrastructure dependency chain to reduce the engineer time required for a cell build from up to 5-engineer days to less than 1. Each member of our 30 engineer organization ran a personal cell for development, allowing us to realize a crucial 40 engineer-day savings in the run up to our public launch.

Performed data analytics and modeling for Technology Development Portfolio Management to improve forecasts of future spend across a portfolio of over 3,000 projects. I built data cleanup and transformation algorithms that increased machine learning model accuracy from 40% to 60%, translating to a several hundred million dollar increase in spending forecast accuracy.

Built a new project time tracking system in Excel with more robust layout and formulas that reduced the time to generate daily project status reports from up to an hour to less than 10 minutes.
