Due to electric-shock and fire hazards to individuals and property, the inverter product undergoes functional-safety certification via a third-party authority. Including,- software's product-safety compliance and certification for UL1741 / UL1998- consult, schedule, coordinate UL1998 project activities with third-party certifier- cross-functional fault-tree analysis of electric-shock and fire hazards- microelectronic failure mode analysis to identify risks- specifications for microelectronic failure, with circuit redundancy or self-test- architecture and design documentation for functional-safety- traceability of mitigations through entire development / maintenance life-cycle
