I am currently the Creative Director for the PR and Marketing Department at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the No. 1 ranked children’s hospital in the region and top-ranked in the country. I lead the creative services team, which partners with our patient care medical teams, groundbreaking research scientists, and community impact leaders to communicate and illustrate our mission. Besides being responsible for the brand identity and multi-channel patient acquisition campaigns for the entire and growing CHOP institution, my team provides support and education materials for the patient family experience. We also help create the print, digital, social, and marketing materials for fundraising events as well as donor-relation communications for The CHOP Foundation.Previously I was a Senior Vice President/Creative Director at the Evoke Group, a global health and wellness advertising and marketing agency. I guided several teams of designers and copywriters as they worked on multimillion-dollar health care marketing campaigns across all channels: social media, digital, print, and television. I led product launches, conceptualized disease awareness outreach, and created campaigns highlighting treatment options for conditions such as infertility, type-2 diabetes, COPD, ADHD, and depression. I began my advertising career in the style of "Mad Men" -- designing advertisements for the fashion, tobacco, and liquor industries. Before that I worked as a product designer, inventing off-beat toys and gifts for chain stores like Five Below, Spencer's Gifts, and Urban Outfitters. I lend my design and management expertise to nonprofit organizations, most notably as a founding board member of Friends of Chester Arthur, which supports our local public school in South Philadelphia.
